Ms. Humera Subhani is a 1995 Graduate of the Emory University School of Law and the Senior Partner of Subhani & Subhani, LLC. She was named a Georgia Rising Star for both 2005 and 2009 in Atlanta Magazine’s Super Lawyers edition.
Ms. Subhani is a Member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and is admitted to practice in the Georgia District Courts, Georgia Court of Appeals, Federal Court of Appeals, and the Georgia Supreme Court. She has been working in the field of immigration since 1995, first with the Law Offices of Lee & Associates, and now as Senior Partner of Subhani & Subhani LLC. Ms. Subhani specializes in all employment and family-based immigration cases, as well as nonimmigrant visas. She has prepared employment-based petitions for numerous Fortune 500 companies, as well as for thousands of smaller, community-based businesses. Ms. Subhani has clients throughout the United States, and in many foreign countries.
Sadia Subhani

Ms. Sadia Subhani has been working at Subhani & Subhani LLC since 1997, first as an intern, then as a practicing attorney since November 2001. While at Emory Law School, Ms. Subhani interned for the Office of the District Counsel at the Immigration & Naturalization Service, participated in the Immigrant Assistance Project, and was on the Board of Directors of the Moot Court Society. Ms. Subhani is currently a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), and is admitted to practice in the Georgia District Courts, Georgia Court of Appeals, and the Georgia Supreme Court.
Emory University (Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Biology, 1997); Emory University School of Law (J.D. with Honors, 2001). Honors include: Induction into the Order of Barristers and Order of Advocates for Excellence in Courtroom Advocacy, Membership in the Lamar Inn of Courts, Award for Best Brief at the 2000 Georgia Intra-State Moot Court Competition, Membership in Phi Alpha Delta Legal Fraternity.
Shoaib Subhani

Mr. Shoaib Hameed Subhani is a 2006 graduate of the University of Georgia School of Law (J.D.) and a 2002 graduate of the Goizueta Business School of Emory University with double concentrations in Finance and Consulting (B.B.A.). Honors include: Election to the Goizueta Honor Court and Membership into the Phi Alpha Delta Legal Fraternity.
Prior to joining Subhani & Subhani LLC, Shoaib worked for several top investment banking firms and now primarily deals with business immigration cases. Mr. Subhani is a Member of of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and is admitted to practice in the Georgia District Courts, Georgia Court of Appeals, Federal Court of Appeals, and the Georgia Supreme Court.
Marcia Schumaker
Paralegal
Marcia A Schumaker is a Senior Paralegal who has been working with Subhani & Subhani LLC since 2005. Ms. Schumaker has a Bachelor’s Degree with dual concentrations in English and Economics, and a Master’s of Science Degree in Psychology. She has also obtained a Graduate Teaching Certification, and a Paralegal Certificate through Emory University Continuing Education. In addition to working as an Immigration Paralegal, Ms. Schumaker also has a background in Business Operations, including Account Reconcilation, Payroll, Inventory Control, and as a Business Personnel Trainer, creating and conducting training classes.
Cecilia Hyewon Chung

Ms. Cecilia Hyewon Chung has been working with Subhani & Subhani LLC since 2005. She has 18 years of experience in the field of immigration law, and specializes in E2 Treaty Investor Petitions and L1 Intracompany Transferee Visas. She received her Bachelor’s of Art from Georgia State University in 2004, and is fluent in English and Korean.
Catherine Strain
Receptionist
Ms. Catherine Strain has been working with Subhani & Subhani LLC since 2015. Prior to then, she worked as a Legal Secretary in a firm specializing in general, corporate, insurance and workers’ compensation law. Ms. Strain also worked in customer service at the American Institute for Foreign Studies Au Pair in America division.
